"What's there to be afraid of?"

Each of us has sat 'in the dark' with this uncomfortable question at multiple points in our lives, or perhaps those suffocating feelings of fear grip us regularly. Even these cute little monsters peer into the darkness, frozen with worry about what lurks in the unknown.

For me, whether it is jumping off a high rock into the Chattahoochee, speaking up in uncomfortable situations, taking on something unknown, I try to acknowledge and face my fears as best as I can. Sometimes I fail and have to try again next time.

We can each tell a story about being afraid. It’s OK! Pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone unites us as human BEings. Facing our fears opens up a world rich with new experiences, learning and growth we would have otherwise missed.

So…

What are YOU afraid of?

What is there to lose by trying?

What is there to lose by NOT trying?
