Artist Opportunity Visions Unbound: Art Through Young Eyes

Visions Unbound: Art Through Young Eyes celebrates the creativity, imagination, and bold vision of the next generation. This exhibition showcases emerging artists under the age of 18, highlighting their unique voices, perspectives, and artistic expressions across a wide range of media — from painting and photography to sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.

Through this show, we aim to nurture young talent, offer real-world gallery experience, and encourage the community to see art through the eyes of its youngest creators.

Whether it’s playful, thoughtful, or profound — every piece tells a story of exploration, growth, and creative courage.

Submission Guidelines

• Artists must be under 18 years old.

• Each artist may submit up to 3 artworks.

• Artwork submissions must include:

  • Clear images of each piece

  • Artist name and age

  • Title, medium, and short description of the artwork

• Work accepted: drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, mixed media, small sculptures, or textile/fiber works.

• Deadline to submit: March 16, 2026

• Parent/guardian consent is required for participation.

Selection Process

• DART staff will review all submissions and notify selected artists by March 27, 2026.

• Selected artwork must be delivered to Doraville Art Center by April 6, 2026, ready to hang or display.

• There is no entry fee for this youth exhibition.

Exhibition Details

The YOUNG ARTISTS exhibition will be on view April 12 – May 23, 2026 at the Doraville Art Center Gallery. Family, friends, and community members are invited to the Opening Reception on April 12, 2026, featuring refreshments and youth artist recognition.

DART is a nonprofit organization that is committed to create and encourage art in the city of Doraville to the benefit of the community through advocacy, education and opportunity and facilitate new public art in Doraville, including art by new artists and artists from under-represented communities.
